Approximately 2000 children a year visit Norkalni. Our desire is that even more kids, as well as teachers, families, organizations could visit the center and organize seminars and conferences.

Therefore there are many plans and projects we want to implement.

The Camp centre ‘'Norkalni'' can be developed only with the support of sponsors and voluntary workers. Why? Because the income from the camps covers only the necessary maintenance expenses, such as electricity, small repairs, meals for the workers, small salaries for their work etc. But for the development of the center (buildings and territory) we are looking for sponsors in Latvia, and abroad.

Present plans and needs:
  • to finish building of the sports hall (floor cover, sports equipment),

  • reconstruction of the white house (roof change, outward fasade, heating system),

  • financial support for the workers in the center,
  • furnishing the environment of the center (desks, sports fields),
  • building of the climbing wall and children's playground
  • building of a chapel

All these projects mentioned above require a lot of financing and work, therefore we invite you to get involved even more in our ministry of children's camps!

You can help by, first of all, praying for the work in the center, that God would send servants and sponsors for the realization of the projects.
Of course, we invite you yourself to take part in a practical work, such as helping with the building or maintainance of the centre, helping financially or helping to put us in touch with other sponsors, or supporting financially those children who are not able to pay the camp attendance fee, and in other ways!
